Proposed temporary road closure on Knockalisheen Road between August & December 2025

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 of Clare County Council’s intention to close the roads detailed hereunder for the period stated to facilitate the construction of the Coonagh to Knockalisheen Distributor Road Project. The following road closures will take place between August and December 2025.

Roads to be closed:                                                                                                                               

• Knockalisheen Road closure route A - between Brennan’s Cross and Hartigan’s Villas (local access only)
• Knockalisheen Road closure route B - Brennan’s Cross to the Junction at Moyross Avenue. (local access only)

Date and time of closure:   

• Knockalisheen Road closure route A 11^th August 2025- 15^th September 2025
• Knockalisheen Road closure route B 15^th September 2025 – 15^th December 2025
