Clare Arts Office presents ‘Positive Vibes’ by artist, Sinéad Slattery. 

Clare County Council, in conjunction with the HSE, is launching the ‘We’re Breastfeeding Friendly Clare’ campaign today (4th October, 2021).

Clare County Council is hosting a Mattress Amnesty Day for householders from across County Clare. This mattress amnesty will give members of the public an opportunity to recycle their waste mattresses, for free. It will take place on 2nd October, 2021, from 8:30am to 1:00pm, at the Central Waste Management Facility in Inagh.

Clare County Library has announced a series of smartphone classes for older people in a number of libraries, beginning at the end of September.

Led by the Disability Federation of Ireland (DFI), Make Way Day returns this year on Friday, 24th September.

Make Way Day is a campaign that brings the disability and wider community together to consider the needs of people with disabilities in the public spaces we all share.

Clare’s cultural community will come together on Friday, 17th September, to showcase the very best the county has to offer. 

Households across Clare are being encouraged to avail of an upcoming opportunity to dispose of their hazardous domestic waste free of charge.

Clare County Council is encouraging people in Clare to show their support for the See Change ‘Green Ribbon’ campaign to end mental health stigma and discrimination.

Clare Arts Office is delighted that Ennistymon in County Clare is one of the towns in the Poetry Town initiative, which will see more than a hundred poetry-related activities take place in 20 towns across the island of Ireland. Ennistymon will host an exciting range of events, which will take place from 10th to 18th September, 2021.

Clare County Council has announced that the lifeguard service at four of Clare’s most popular beaches – Fanore, Lahinch, Kilkee and Spanish Point – is being extended this year.
