A new Clare County Fire and Rescue Service maintenance workshop in Ennis, Co. Clare, was officially opened today by Darragh O’Brien TD, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien TD, today (27th August, 2021) visited the construction site of the Ashline social housing development in Ennis, which will see the provision of 40 social housing units through a direct build scheme by Clare County Council.
Tomorrow, Friday 27th August, 2021, will see Ennis in County Clare launched as an Age Friendly Town.
This wonderful exhibition is in memory of Betty Cauldwell (née Counihan), the artist who passed away in April, 2020. Betty’s discerning eye and her ability to capture the essence of her subject is truly reflected in this exhibition which runs from 30th August to 2nd October, 2021.
The Minister of State with responsibility for Disability, Anne Rabbitte TD, has visited a number of centres and organisations in Clare that provide services for people with disabilities.
The Temporary Covid-19 Ennis Town Centre Mobility Plan taskforce met on Wednesday, 11th August, to review the current implementation of the plan. Based on their assessment and taking into account current public health guidelines, children returning to school, and facilitating outdoor dining, the following exit strategy was agreed.
Heritage groups throughout County Clare have developed projects for National Heritage Week 2021, which runs from Saturday, 14th August, to Sunday, 22nd August.
Clare County Council is seeking to complement its hedge-cutting programme this autumn by facilitating landowners and community groups in maintaining hedgerows throughout County Clare.
Clare County Council is delighted to confirm that work has commenced on the construction of the Springfield Flood Relief Scheme at Clonlara.
